IECMH-WC Workshops

Enhance Your IECMH Knowledge & Skills

Workshops offered by the IECMH-WC are free for professionals who serve or support children prenatal to five and their families enrolled in Apple Health (Medicaid).

  • IECMH Clinical Workshops are designed for mental health providers involved in mental health assessment and diagnosis for children birth to five.
  • IECMH Community Workshops are intended for all professionals who support the social-emotional well-being of babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their families, as well as expecting families.

CEUs and/or STARS hours are provided for most workshops.

Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) & Early Relational Health (ERH) in Washington: Referral & Care Coordination Overview

This interactive workshop focuses on the IECMH field from a relationship-centered, diversity-informed, healing-forward, and developmentally-focused perspective. Participants will learn about influences on IECMH and indicators that IECMH services may be needed, as well as approaches to engage with families and assist them in anticipating and obtaining developmentally appropriate supports. This workshop is intended to encourage relationship-centered collaboration across infant and early childhood systems in supporting very young children and their families.

CEUs for mental health professionals and STARS hours (pending approval) will be provided.
