The American Association of Pediatrics (AAP) is hosting a webinar series to share important, practical, and relevant information about
trauma-informed pediatric care with members and non-members. The first webinar will be hosted on April 1, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
Most pediatric healthcare professionals have learned about the basic physiology of trauma, understand
that childhood adversity can have health consequences throughout the life span, and have sat through at
least a lecture or two on how to implement trauma-informed care. But in busy practice, it can feel like
there’s not enough time to integrate this knowledge. In this webinar, Drs Heather Forkey and Moira
Szilagyi will share practical tips to integrate principles of trauma-informed care when you only have 5, 10,
