Facilitating Fatherhood: Circle Process for Dads

In this introductory workshop, participants will explore the transformative power of the circle process (also known as council practice) to build connections, establish grassroots leadership and uplift the voices and experiences of fathers in their communities and organizations.

Rooted in the traditions of restorative circles, this session aims to provide fathers and their service providers with the tools to create supportive, inclusive spaces for dialogue and mutual support. The session includes two fathers who will share their experiences participating in and facilitating dads’ groups using this framework. 

By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with practical skills and insights to facilitate meaningful circles that foster connection and empowerment among fathers. Whether you are a father, a service provider or someone interested in community leadership, this workshop will provide valuable resources and inspiration to help you support and uplift the dads in your community.
