DESCRIPTION:Tejiendo nuestras medicinas es un recurso para dejar emerger la sabiduría y las tecnologías —corporizadas y culturalmente específicas— de quienes acompañan el nacimiento y trabajan en el campo de las primeras infancias. Vemos a quienes acompañan los nacimientos en un sentido amplio\, incluyendo a todas las personas y profesionales que apoyan directa e indirectamente la ceremonia del nacimiento\, incluidas las personas gestantes y sus hijxs. Esta es una invitación para que los profesionales de los ámbitos perinatal y de salud mental de la primera infancia (IECMH) reconecten con la sabiduría de sus cuerpos y comunidades como una forma de resistencia frente a los legados persistentes de daño hacia niñx y familias. Juntos\, aprenderemos a tejer las medicinas de nuestros linajes personales y profesionales para acompañar el ver nacer del futuro de la salud mental perinatal y de la primera infancia. Al integrar prácticas ancestrales y somáticas en nuestra labor en este campo\, creamos caminos hacia la liberación colectiva a nivel corporal\, de la díada y del colectivo. \nEl compromiso: \n\nUna sesión inicial virtual de 3 horas. . Los participantes comenzarán su recorrido con el recurso Tejiendo nuestras medicinas y el marco conceptual Códices en nuestros huesos para reconectar con prácticas somáticas ancestrales durante el periodo perinatal\, el posparto y más allá.\nCinco sesiones de praxis quincenales de 2 horas cada una. . Los participantes profundizarán su conexión con el cuerpo\, linajes de aprendizajes\, y la comunidad\, a la vez que reciben apoyo práctico para aplicar en su vida cotidiana las prácticas somáticas ancestrales del manual Tejiendo nuestras medicinas.\n\n***AVISO IMPORTANTE: Este programa ha sido aprobado para otorgar 13 CEU’s a trabajadores sociales con licencia\, consejeros de salud mental y terapeutas matrimoniales y familiares por la Washington State Society for Clinical Social Work.
