SUMMARY:Trauma-Informed Pediatric Care
DESCRIPTION:The American Association of Pediatrics (AAP) is hosting a webinar series to share important\, practical\, and relevant information about\ntrauma-informed pediatric care with members and non-members. The first webinar will be hosted on April 1\, 2025\, from 10:00 – 11:00 am. \nMost pediatric healthcare professionals have learned about the basic physiology of trauma\, understand\nthat childhood adversity can have health consequences throughout the life span\, and have sat through at\nleast a lecture or two on how to implement trauma-informed care. But in busy practice\, it can feel like\nthere’s not enough time to integrate this knowledge. In this webinar\, Drs Heather Forkey and Moira\nSzilagyi will share practical tips to integrate principles of trauma-informed care when you only have 5\, 10\,\nor 15 minutes. The presentation will be followed by a Q and A session. Register here.
